I was born in El Salvador and migrated to the United States with my family looking for the American dream in 2001.  My vision has always been to open my own business and I’m proud to say my dream has come true for not only running my own housekeeping company but also starting Abuella’s Essentials. You may ask where “Abuella” comes from? My granddaughter Mia would call me that since the days she started talking and it hasn’t changed.  In 2016, after going through back surgery, I decided to start this company from my very own basement in Trumbull, Connecticut.  I can proudly say that I went in there blindly not knowing how to make a simple candle.  I bought many books and watched videos and taught myself everything that you see on here. Which is why I take a lot of pride in every piece that I create to assure my clients they are getting the best, from the top ingredients to the smallest detail to make it a finished product.  

My family says I’m very ambitious because any idea that crosses my mind, I make it happen.  Life is too short so why not start making your dreams come true? I’m lucky to have my family right beside me from my husband to my daughter’s and their families to support every crazy idea. Even though I love everything I do, my proudest joy is being a mom to my three daughters, a wife, and"abuella" to four amazing grandkids.
